RULE 3.721. RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS

  • The court must ensure that the entire sentencing proceeding is recorded.
  • The record must be preserved in a manner that allows it to be transcribed if needed.
  • This rule is crucial for creating an accurate record for appellate review of the sentence and the sentencing hearing.

The sentencing court shall ensure that a record of the entire sentencing proceeding is made and preserved in such a manner that it can be transcribed as needed.
